Hello my dear international-classmate, and why not any viewer around the world! Well, my name is Miriam, and I've been living in U.S. for the last 5 years. I'm originally from Mexico, and I've been in Belize, Guatemala and, of course, the U.S. The first time I came to Dallas, I was very amused by the big and colorful buildings. Above all, the most amazing building was the Reunion Tower.Schools that I have studied are The Colony High School, studied 9th grade, and then I transferred to Plano East Senior High. In PESH, they jumped me a grade, so I started at 11th grade. Well you might ask why, I studied 11th grade in Mexico and came to the U.S. and put me in 9th grade. It was so frustrating and depressing because I studied so hard, get A+ so I would have to go through this. Anyway, life is not easy right? So now, I am very proud of being a college student. I attent to CCCCD. My major is Web Developer Specialization and is under Computer Science, and I am thinking on getting a masters in Programming but not sure at all.
I live with my older sister, my brother-in-law, my nephew and niece. My sister is 8 years older and teaches at Hickey Elementary School as a Special/bilingual teacher. Racher(6) and Micah(7) are currently studying at same school that my sister's job. My brother-in-law works for JCPenney Corporation as a web developer, he mostly does Flash and xml programming. We live in Plano, Texas. Lola is a very special member of the family, she is Pitt/Golden Retriever dog who was found outside of our house. After few weeks, my sister decided to adopt her, and you know that made us so happy.
